Rhodes Group Names New Chief Executive Officer
Albuquerque, NM, Oct. 22, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Rhodes Group is pleased to announce W. James Brown as the new chief executive officer. As the CEO of Rhodes, James leads an organization responsible for developing, deploying and providing technology and consultative services for medical lab and healthcare solutions.
Dr. Michael Crossey, Rhodes Group Chairman of the Board and CEO of TriCore Reference Laboratories, comments, “Mr. Brown’s experience in the healthcare IT community and exceptional leadership skills make him well suited to guide Rhodes Group in the development of laboratory software solutions, consulting and professional services.” In addition to his role of Rhodes CEO, Mr. Brown will serve as TriCore Reference Laboratories’ chief information officer.
James has almost 30 years of successful experience in information technology, services and consulting. He started his career in the US Air Force as an Intelligence Production Specialist. His almost 10 years of service helped him to develop the IT and leadership skills he has used throughout his career. An experienced IT security practitioner, he led information security teams as a system integration practice manager, a team lead for BlueCross BlueShield of NC, and eventually for Grifols (formerly Talecris). His cross-functional knowledge and management acumen led him to branch out to leading IT infrastructure teams, ERP, clinical/enterprise applications, service desks and project management offices. More recently, he has performed as the chief information officer for Presbyterian Medical Services. In this role, he led all IT services for a large statewide Federally Qualified Health Center system.
