NEW YORK, Sept. 20, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- WisdomTree (NASDAQ: WETF), an exchange-traded fund (“ETF”) and exchange-traded product (“ETP”) sponsor and asset manager, today announced plans to close and liquidate the WisdomTree Global ex-Mexico Equity Fund (XMX).

The WisdomTree Global ex-Mexico Equity Fund will no longer accept creation orders after Monday, October 21, 2019. The final day of trading on the ETF’s exchange will also be Monday, October 21, 2019. Shareholders who do not sell their ETF shares by this date will have their shares automatically redeemed for cash based on the WisdomTree Global ex-Mexico Equity Fund’s net asset value (NAV), which is expected to be provided to shareholders through their brokers or other financial intermediaries on or around Wednesday, October 30, 2019, following the last day of operations, which is expected to be on or around Tuesday, October 29, 2019.
