Toyota willing to increase investments in Angola
Luanda, ANGOLA, May 3 - Toyota Tsusho Corporation president, Ichiro Kashitani, on Thursday expressed interest in extending its investments to other sectors of the Angolan economy.

The head of one of the world's largest automakers made this revelation at the end of an audience granted by the President of the Republic, João Lourenço.
He added that Toyota group is interested in contributing to Angola's growth, not only in the automotive industry, but also in the areas of infrastructures and energy, as well as exploring other possibilities in which Japanese companies can bring new technologies for the integral development of the country.
Ichiro Kashitani added that this interest has not only to do with the development of the business sector, but also with human resources, specifically in multidisciplinary.
He stressed that the meeting with President João Lourenço was very productive and fruitful, since issues related to the important opportunities offered by Angola were addressed.
Regarding the car industry domain, he announced that Toyota is studying the possibility of expanding its activities, not only in the distribution area, where it already works, but also to bring a new vehicles connection technology service to Angola, for traffic management.
