Justice officials recommend new strategies to combat corruption

Huambo, ANGOLA, May 2 - Officials of the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights recommended the implementation of a new strategy to tackle corruption and impunity inside the provincial delegations. ,

This is contained in a communiqué released to the press Tuesday at the end of the 14th consulting council of the Justice Ministry, which states that it is not possible to provide a good and transparent public service without properly combat corruption and impunity.

 

The participants suggested that the new strategy should enter into force from May to September this year, which would include banners discouraging acts of corruption in all offices  linked to the ministry and in the main streets of Luanda city.

 

The participants also consider essential to prepare a national dissemination and training plan on the Criminal Code, as well as the continuation of the transfer process of the administrative management, financial, assets and human resources to the onus of the Superior Judicial Council.

 

The creation of mobile and regional training centers, conservatories and identification card issuance office, and criminal identification posts to enhance the general and on-job training  for  justice officials and other operators.

 

The meeting, which ended on Tuesday was held under the motto: Transparency, loyalty and rigor, we improve civil registration and notary services".
