H01 ELEGANTE BESPOKE BY SNAIDERO USA WINS 2019 GREEN GOOD DESIGN™ AWARD

The annual program aims to identify the world’s most important examples of sustainable design and recognizes which companies are doing the best job at developing design products, projects, and architecture that respect the environment.
Like all the models in the ELEGANTE Bespoke collection, H01 is a very high-end cabinetry system for kitchens and baths developed by Snaidero USA exclusively for the Americas. H01 features Heartwood, a unique and eco-friendly wood finish that is more resistant, more durable and less permeable than other types of wood.
- Heartwood comes from verified sustainable sources and source forest replenishment (backed by an FSC Chain-of-Custody certification).
- The wood particle boards comply with the strictest world standards for formaldehyde emissions. The emission levels are less than half of what is required by the LFE E1 international certification and also meet the standards set by the California Air Resources Board (CARB) Phase II, the EPA’s TSCA Title 6, and the CATAS Quality Award certification.
- Instead of solvent-based coatings (which release toxic substances for a long time even after they have dried), the cabinets use water-based coatings. This reduces the emission of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) by 95%, resulting in a safer product for homeowners’ health.
- The H01 ELEGANTE Bespoke cabinetry is 100% made in Italy in a plant that holds the ISO 14001 certification. This is an international standard that determines the ability to deal with exceptional events and emergencies that may cause harmful consequences for the environment.
The Green GOOD DESIGN award is a very specialized edition of the original GOOD DESIGN, the prestigious program founded in Chicago in 1950. It is given by The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies and The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design out of hundreds of submissions from around the world.
