Emergency Assistance to Zimbabwe in Response to the Cyclone Damage
On 29 March, upon the request of the Government of the Republic of Zimbabwe, the Government of Japan decided to provide emergency relief goods (tents, portable jerry cans, etc.) through Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) to Zimbabwe in response to the damage caused by the recent cyclone.
Upon the request of the Government of Zimbabwe, and in light of humanitarian perspective and the close relations between Japan and Zimbabwe, Japan has decided to provide emergency assistance to Zimbabwe to meet its humanitarian needs.
