Less than three weeks until WWF-Canada’s CN Tower Climb for Nature

Still time to register to climb the CN Tower and support wildlife on April 13 & 14

TORONTO, March 28, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Registration is open for WWF-Canada’s CN Tower Climb for Nature. Now in its 29th year, the Climb is a great way for friends, families and co-workers to come together to challenge their fitness and fundraising goals while supporting wildlife and nature.

The Climb takes place on Saturday, April 13 and Sunday, April 14, 2019.

Four great reasons to join the Climb:

  1. Make a difference for wildlife and nature: Last year, the CN Tower Climb for Nature raised more than $1.4 million for WWF-Canada's conservation efforts. This vital funding has supported critical conservation work here at home in the Arctic, our three oceans and our freshwater rivers and lakes.
  2. Conquer your fitness goals: Committing to take on the CN Tower’s 1,776 steps through WWF-Canada’s CN Tower Climb for Nature is a powerful way to reach a fitness goal. Whether you’re a pro athlete or looking for a new way to push yourself, people of all ages and abilities make it to the top every year.
  3. Join the fastest of the fastest: Those who are looking for an even more intense challenge can sign up for the Elite Climb, which takes place right before the Sunday Climb on April 14, 2019. Elite climbers competing for the fastest time (less than 15 minutes!) can reserve a “first up the tower spot” upon registration.
  4. A great way to connect with others: From teams of friends and families to co-workers, the Climb is an amazing opportunity for people to come together to take on a challenge. The feeling when you reach the top is incredible – why not share the experience with others in your life.
