Minister defends public administration without queues

Luanda, ANGOLA, March 28 - The minister of Territory Administration and State Reform, Adão de Almeida, acknowledged on Thursday the need for the Public Administration to get rid of queues, slowness, silence and excessive use of paper, procedures that favor bureaucracy in the public services. ,

 

Speaking at the Conference on Reform of the State, the official said that in order to reverse this situation, it is necessary to simplify, reduce bureaucracy and dematerialize public administration.

 

 

Regarding the process of State Reform in progress in the country, Adão de Almeida said that it necessarily passes through the municipalization and integration of public services, bringing them closer to the citizens.

 

The minister assured that the restructuring of the state administrative machinery will make it more efficient, avoid financial waste, resulting from duplication of expenditure, and eliminate the overlap of institutions.

 

According to the minister, the size, complexity of the challenges and the ambition to overcome them requires that human capital be placed in the priority line of the reform.

 

Adão de Almeida highlighted, based on the ongoing reform process, which was launched by the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, the digital platform for the provision of public services, called SEPE, which on Wednesday benefited from the integration of the Single Window for Enterprise (GUE).

 

It is a platform that allows candidates and entrepreneurs to set up companies from the internet, at the electronic address www.sepe.gov.ao.
