Luanda, ANGOLA, March 21 - Rwanda President Paul Kagame left Luanda late Thursday back to his country after a 48-hour visit to Angola to strengthen bilateral relations and discuss the situation in Great Lakes region.,

At Luanda International Airport, Rwanda statesman, who did not speak to the press, was seen off by Angolan minister of Foreign Affairs, Manuel Augusto, and other officials.

In Luanda, Paul Kagame was received by his host counterpart João Lourenço on Wednesday.

Both presidents discussed cooperation between the two countries.

The meeting also approached the situation of the Great Lakes Region and the Community of Southern Africa Development (SADC).

On Thursday the two Statesmen granted a brief press conference to clarify, among other things, the levels of cooperation between Angola and Rwanda.

The talk also approached the outcome of the Rwandan statesman to Angola.

According to President Paul Kagame, Angola and Rwanda will move forward with cooperation in all areas and without any limitation.  

The two countries have, among others, agreements in the field of civil aviation, signed in Kigali, which aims to establish and operate air services between the cities of Luanda and Kigali, as well as security and public order.

Cooperation between Angola and Rwanda, both members of the International Conference on the Great Lakes Region (ICGLR), also occurs within the framework of regional peace and security issues.
