Luanda, ANGOLA, March 14 - The 4th Commission of the National Assembly ran on Wednesday a seminar on local power to discuss the issue and gather contributions, as part of the implementation of the institution's plan of activities for the present legislative year. ,

The first panel discussed the administrative and financial autonomy of the municipalities, while the second addressed the models of local governments, their organization and functioning.

 

The event was attended by several politicians, professional associations and representatives of non-governmental organizations.

 

With the holding of the seminar on local government, the organizers initiated an open and specialized parliamentary discussion on the issue of local authorities, mainly concerning their administrative and financial autonomy.

 

The event also served to share experiences, knowledge and updated information on the models of local governments and opportunities and constraints registered in other realities.
