More than 800 participants will attend the Annual General Meeting as representatives of OECTA’s 45,000 members. Over the course of the three-day meeting, delegates will elect members of the Provincial Executive and attend to the business of the Association.
The meeting will also serve as the culminating celebration of OECTA’s 75th anniversary, in the city where the Association’s Letters Patent were signed in 1944. Throughout the year, Catholic teachers have been reflecting on the Association’s stellar history of protecting and enhancing workers’ rights, fostering teachers’ professional development, and strengthening Ontario’s world-renowned publicly funded Catholic education system.
