Angolan Ambassador accredited to African Union
Addis Ababa, ANGOLA, March 6 - Angolan new ambassador to Ethiopia Francisco José da Cruz Wednesday delivered his Credential to the Chairperson of the African Union Commission (AUC) Moussa Faki Mahamat, who accredited him as the country’s permanent representative to the African Union (AU).

This is expressed in a press note from the Angolan Embassy in Ethiopia which quoted the new ambassador as having assured the full cooperation of Angolan Government in success of the mission of the AUC Chairperson, as well as the AU’s full commitment to the strategic principles and objectives.
The source pointed to the Peace and Security, Political Affairs, the Continental Free Trade Zone and the reinforcement of the voice and representation of Africa in International issues, as the main pillars.
In order for the institution to depend less and less on international donors, the ambassador expressed the country’s commitment to support the Institutional and Financial Reforms under way in the AU.
