Cabinda: State Secretary calls on National police for determination
Cabinda, ANGOLA, February 28 - The Secretary of State for Technical Assistance of the Interior Ministry, Salvador José Rodrigues, on Thursday in Cabinda urged the national police to remain firm and determined in Operation Rescue in order to ensure public order and tranquility.,
Salvador Rodrigues, who was chairing the central act allusive to the 43rd anniversary of the national police, called on the staff for readiness to restore civic, ethical and moral values, strengthen state authority, prevent and combat crime, and administrative transgressions, in partnership with different organs of the State and civil society.
He assured that Operation Rescue has had positive effects in the social areas, the organization of the economic activity, fluidity in the road traffic, the reduction of incivilities and the improvement of service in the public services.
The Secretary of State stressed that the Ministry of the Interior and the General Command of the Police are adapting their central and local bodies to carry out mandatory periodic inspection of vehicles, exchange and allocation of new registrations, among other actions planned for five years period 2018-2022.
