Authorities deem false human organs trafficking information

Luanda, ANGOLA, February 6 - The Ministry of the Interior has deemed false the information put out in the social network about possible cases of human organs trafficking in the southern Cunene Province and reiterates its commitment to maintaining public security, strongly focusing on crime fight and prevention. ,

For some time now, some careless people have been publishing in the social networks false information regarding alleged cases of human organs trafficking and annexing to the information horrific images.  

 

On a press communiqué, the Ministry of the Interior states that after an investigation work carried out by specialists it has been concluded that the said information are false.

 

Thus, the institution denounces “such a campaign that aims to install panic and a feeling of insecurity within the population (...)”.

 

It also appeals for the citizens, mainly in Cunene Province, to keep calm and denounce those persons that intend to sow seeds of fear and insecurity.

 

“The concerned organs of the state will continue to guarantee security for the people, counting always on the indispensable and valuable collaboration of the population”, concludes the communiqué.
