Army stresses technical improvement
Malanje, ANGOLA, December 26 - The improvement of the technical-combative and moral aspects of the military members was highlighted on Wednesday in northern Malanje province. ,
The Army’s performance was stressed by the commander of the 1st Army Corps of the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA), José Manuel de Sousa.
The high ranking officer of FAA was speaking during a ceremony aimed at taking stock of the activities carried out in 2018.
José de Sousa said that this procedure is intended, among other factors, to counter what he called "inertia" and the "spirit of leaving things the way they are" within the community.
The FAA commander considered crucial that each member knows and performs the tasks entrusted to him/her.
However, he defended more involved of the Army in actions to deal with the country's social, political and economic context.
In addition to the Army, other FAA branches include the National Air Force and the Navy.
