Angola’s Vice President ends official visit to Austria

The event focused on the current and future cooperation between Africa and Europe regarding innovation and digitalisation.
Delivering his speech at the Forum, the Angolan Vice president called on European countries to support for Angola on repatriation of ill-gotten assets.
Addressing the Europeans and Africans, amongst the host Sebastian Kurtz, Austrian Chancellor; Paul Kagame, President of Rwanda and the African Union; and Jean Claude Junker, chairperson of the European Commission, the Vice President said the repatriation process entails cooperation by all countries.
The Vice President took part in the official dinner offered to the members of the official delegations at the Africa-Europe Forum.
He also met with various political entities, with stress to the Estonian, Polish and Finnish prime ministers, with whom he addressed issues on bilateral relations and enhanced economic cooperation.
The Angolan official also expressed interest in establishing a partnership in hotel field, after visiting the oldest hotel and catering training center in Vienna (capital of Austria).
Still in Vienna, Bornito de Sousa met with the heads of an Austrian business group and participated in several other activities.
In addition to the Angolan ambassador in the European country, Teodolinda Coelho, the Angolan delegation made up of representatives from the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Telecommunications and Information Technologies, Agriculture, Higher Education Science and Technology and Public Administration Labour and Social Security.
