Metalcraft Introduces First TILT Ejector Scraper
New Design Intended to Save Operators Time, Money
Louisville, Ga., Dec. 19, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Heavy equipment manufacturer Metalcraft, known for their industrial scrapers and graders, introduces a TILT Ejector Scraper that utilizes tilt sensors and GPS controls to create precision slopes.

“This is the latest innovation in machine controls,” said Dayton Ratzlaff, founder and president of Metalcraft. “We’re excited to offer this type of system for our customers. Historically, pull-type scrapers have plagued operators with their inability to accurately control a cross slope.”
Ratzlaff said that Metalcraft’s TILT Ejector scraper will save operators time and money as they can utilize the system’s tilt sensors and GPS controls to create precision slopes without the extra expense of bulldozers and motor graders.
“We saw a need and designed a machine that could deliver,” Ratzlaff said.
The operator uses a touchscreen mounted in the tractor cab to select from three different modes of operation:
- Manual Mode: This keeps the scraper blade parallel with the rear wheels and also allows for manual tilting.
- Slope Mode: The operator sets the desired slope angle and the scraper blade holds the inputted angle regardless of wheel position.
- Auto GPS Mode: The controller receives inputs from any brand of GPS controller and automatically tilts, raises, or lowers the blade to the required grade.

The new system comes installed on Metalcraft’s 2016WT, 2614WT and 2814WT ejector scrapers when the TILT option is purchased.
