This UV lighting solution produces a 365nm beam and 35,000 mW of high-quality ultraviolet light, ideal for paint spray booths, ink, coatings and adhesive curing, non-destructive testing, inspections, food processing and more. This light tower operates on universal 120-277V AC and is mounted on a portable quadpod that is adjustable and collapsible.

The EPL-QP-1X100LED-UVA-100 Quadpod Mounted Explosion Proof UV LED Light Tower from Larson Electronics offers a portable UV lighting solution for combustible environments and hazardous locations. Mounted on a quadpod, the fixture has been thoroughly tested with the DuPont line of ultraviolet curable paint and primers, accelerating the cure times over metal halide fixtures with surface temperatures as low at 55°F. The LED light fixture assembly can be removed by releasing the hand knob and sliding the light and mounting bracket off of the center support while the legs can be collapsed, aiding in deployment, storage and transport. This adjustable and collapsible quadpod can be extended to twelve feet, collapsed to seven feet, and includes solid wheels allow the operator to tilt the unit back and simply roll the entire assembly to a new location when fully deployed.

The EPL-QP-1X100LED-UVA-100 portable, explosion proof UV LED lighting system uses special ultraviolet LED light technology, which far surpasses traditional fluorescents, which require coating to block out visible light or a high concentration of gases and chemicals to create the UV light. This process wastes energy and produces unused light. Our UV LEDs have a narrow wavelength band and do not require any special coating, meaning they waste little to no light and save energy. These tighter wavelengths eliminate harmful UV-B and UV-C wavelengths, adding additional safety to workers who operate regularly near the fixtures.

This unit operates on 120-277V AC, 50/60Hz (low voltage option also available) and is equipped with 100 feet of 16/3 SOOW cord fitted with an explosion proof cord cap. Plug options include a 5-15 15-amp straight blade plug for use with 125V explosion proof outlets, a 5-20 20-amp straight blade plug for use with 125V explosion proof outlets, or a 6-20 20-amp straight blade plug for use with 250V explosion proof outlets.

The EPL-QP-1X100LED-UVA-100 has an adjustable non-sparking aluminum collapsible tripod on wheels that can be extended to 12 feet and collapsed to 7 feet. The four leg quadpod mount is constructed from non-sparking powder coated aluminum and features two solid wheels allowing users to tip and wheel the entire assembly to a new location.

This light tower is IP67 rated, dust proof and protected against high pressure jets and temporary submersion. This unit is rated Class I, Division 1, Groups C and D; Class II, Division 2, Groups A, B, C and D; and Class III, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups E, F and G. This LED light is also paint spray booth approved and LEL approved.
