Bie governor defends firm responses in fighting corruption
Cuito, ANGOLA, December 17 - The governor of the province of Bié, Pereira Alfredo, defended Monday in Cuito, firm and serious responses in the actions developed by the Attorney General's Office (PGR), regarding investigations of crimes for corruption, embezzlement and domestic violence.,
Pereira Alfredo made these statements on the sidelines of a lecture on anti-corruption and money laundering, promoted by the provincial delegation of Justice and Human Rights.
According to the official, society expects these organizations to be impartial in order to ban other paradigms that are associated with this phenomenon, especially nepotism, crony and other bad practices that harm the collective interest.
During the event, the Deputy Attorney General of the Republic of Bié, João Carlos da Silva Antunes, considered the fight against corruption a symbol of dignity to form a transparent and honest society.
In this path, João Carlos da Silva Antunes, without advancing data, ensured that the PGR investigated cases related to corruption, money laundering, embezzlement and some of which were already successful.
