,
The commander said so this Monday while speaking at the central event of the 27th anniversary of the Army Command, marked Monday under the motto "New challenges in moralization, restructuring and modernization."
Gouveia Sá Miranda said that in order to carry out the tasks, the armed forces have been working with the Ministry of Health and the Sanitation department to train staff.
He added that these and other actions demonstrate the important role that the army and the armed forces continue to play in society in ensuring peace, security and territorial stability, as well as improving people's lives.
For this reason, he urged the personnel to improve by raising the levels of organization, discipline, vigilance and combative readiness to safeguard the territorial integrity and the constitutionally consecrated political powers.
The Army command is one of the three branches of the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA) and was created on December 17, 1991, with the objective of satisfying the political will of the Angolans, to put an end to the long years of conflicts.
