Angolan ambassador delivers credentials to Japanese emperor

Ambassador Rui Xavier has been in the service of Angolan diplomacy since 1976 and is Angola's fourth ambassador to Japan.

Diplomat with recognized merit, Rui Xavier was Minister Counselor of the Embassy of Angola in Portugal. He also served in Angolan diplomacy in Rome, where he was a counselor.

The Ambassador previously held the position of director for multilateral affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
