2018 marks the 20th anniversary for Operation Warm and the fourth year of its partnership with Hollister. Together, Hollister and Operation Warm will provide warmth, confidence, and hope through the gift of new winter coats. This holiday season, more than 400 Hollister associates will volunteer at coat giving events in Detroit, Seattle, New York City, Washington, D.C., Denver, Boston, Charlotte, and Columbus.  At the conclusion of 2018, Operation Warm will have given warm winter coats to three million children throughout the United States since its start in 1998.

“We are proud of the great work Operation Warm continues to do for communities in need and the Hollister team is honored to partner with them as they serve their three millionth child this year,” said Kristin Scott, Brand President of Hollister Co. “Our associates look forward to giving back to their local communities at the donation events each year and we’re excited to continue that support.”

“We’re celebrating our 20th year of serving children and we are grateful for Hollister’s continued support,” explains Dick Sanford, Operation Warm founder and CEO. “We have both seen time and again that providing children in need with brand new coats not only provides warmth, but also boosts their self-esteem, school attendance and allows them to play outside. Hollister’s dedication to our shared mission is seen through their associates during the inspiring coat giving events. We are fortunate to have such passionate and friendly volunteers from Hollister to make our events an incredible experience for the kids.”

In addition to the coat giving events, customers are encouraged to support the organization by rounding up their purchase in stores and online beginning on Giving Tuesday. In 2017, Hollister customers generously contributed more than $550,000 to Operation Warm.  To learn more about Operation Warm and its partnership with Hollister, visit https://bit.ly/2zigBrr
