Angola hosts Portuguese-speaking Countries' press forum

Luanda, ANGOLA, November 27 - Angola will host the Permanent Forum of Official Press Organisations of the Portuguese Speaking Countries, an event that annually brings together leaders at the highest level of official presses. ,

 

The decision emerged from 13th edition of the forum held on 15 - 17 this month in Maputo, Mozambican.

 

In its document, the National Press informed that during event held in Mozambique, the CEO Lando Sebastião Teta addressed the theme "Motivation and Challenges of the National Press in Angola".

 

The National Press - E.P. manager  approached the challenges and perspectives, with stress to the universal and inclusive gratuity of the country's Gazette.

 

 

According to a note delivered to Angop Tuesday, the speaker also focused on the availability in digital format of the Country's Gazette, similar to what occurs in some member countries.

 

In the case of Angola, this procedure requires working out a proposal to amend the law 7/14 of 26 May, on official publications, coupled with its regulation.

 

In addition to National Press CEO, the Angolan delegation to Maputo meeting was integrated by the head of department Graciosa Baião de Almeida, and Advisor of Communication and Image and Institutional Business Valdir da Silva Baptista de Sousa.

 

The Permanent Forum of the Official Press Organisations of the Portuguese Speaking Countries is a consultation and cooperation organ among the member States.
