Media Advisory: Victims of Impaired Driving Gather for MADD Prince Edward Island Chapters’ Annual Candlelight Vigil

MONTAGUE, Prince Edward Island, Nov. 01, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- A sea of candles will light the way as MADD Canada’s Prince Edward Island Chapters host their annual Candlelight Vigil of Hope and Remembrance for victims of impaired driving on November 3rd.

With photos and the lighting of a candle for each victim, the Candlelight Vigil helps people honour a loved one who has been killed or acknowledge injuries caused by the senseless and entirely preventable crime of impaired driving.

“The Vigil offers a meaningful way to pay tribute to those who have been impacted by impaired driving, and serves as a poignant reminder of the terrible, tragic toll this crime takes on families and communities,” said MADD Canada Atlantic Regional Manager Susan MacAskill.

Media are welcome to attend:

Event:  Candlelight Vigil of Hope and Remembrance
