Angola attends Italy/Africa conference

Rome, ANGOLA, October 24 - Angolan Foreign Affairs minister Manuel Augusto has been since Tuesday in Rome, Italy, to attend the Italy-Africa conference on "peace and security, economic growth and human development". ,

 

The Italian Foreign Affairs Ministry has mentioned  46 African countries, 34 represented at ministerial level and 13 international organisations, including the African Union, in a total of 350 delegates, as having confirmed their presence in the conference.

The Angolan top diplomat was received by his Italian counterpart, Enzo Moavero Milanesi, with whom he addressed issues of bilateral interest.

 

Manuel Augusto also met with the Director-General of UN Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO), the Brazilian Graziano da Silva.
