National Security Council analyses country's situation
Luanda, ANGOLA, October 5 - The National Security Council verified last Thursday, in Luanda, aspects relating to the country's security policy and strategy, as well as analysed information on the current politico-military situation in the national territory.,
According to the communiqué of the session, which was chaired by President and Commander-in-Chief João Lourenço, the meeting also analysed he situation regarding public order and the implementation of the collective security integrated system.
The Head of State’s consultation organ assessed also the actions that have been carried out in the ambit of the implementation of the Pension Scheme of the Information Service and State Security (SINSE), as well as legal tools relating to military courts and laws, among other issues.
The National Security Council is comprised of the Vice President, the Speaker of the National Assembly, Presiding judge of the Constitutional Court, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, and the State’s Attorney-General.
The organ also includes ministers and state ministers appointed by the Head of State, plus other personalities invited by the Head of State.
