Inspector concerned about negative conduct in police ranks

Luanda, ANGOLA, September 26 - The Inspector-General of the Ministry of the Interior, Margarida Jordão, on Tuesday in Luanda recommended serious and speedy treatment of the actions of the staff who have smeared the name of the National Police and the Criminal Investigation Service ( SIC). ,

On the basis of complaints from citizens or information from the press and social networks, which call into question the quality of the services provided by the organs and tarnish the image of this ministerial department, the Inspector-General expressed concern about the misconduct of some staff, with emphasis on the Criminal Investigation Service (SIC).

At the third methodological meeting of the inspection bodies of the Ministry of Interior, the supervisor recommended transparency, impartiality and integrity of the inspectors, as well as the recognition of possible errors in the fulfilment of duty.

"Any monitoring activity requires strategic planning, which means setting goals and objectives that must be supported by all the intervening players," she said.

To her, every human activity needs an efficient and effective control system, so that inspection actions are necessary to measure and record the competence of staff, transparency of action and the level of trust.

The meeting addresses topics such as "Inspection and supervision with and without prior notice" and "Inquiry and Investigation rules and procedures ", among others.
