President João Lourenço sacks provincial governors

Luanda, ANGOLA, September 12 - Angolan head of State João Lourenço Wednesday fired the governors of the provinces of Bié (centre), Lunda Sul (east), Cunene (south), Huambo (central highland) and Huíla (south). ,

 

According to a note from the President's Civil Affairs Office,  João Louranço fired the governors Álvaro Manuel de Boavida Neto (Bie), Ernesto Fernando Kiteculo (Lunda Sul), Kundi Paihama (Cunene), João Baptista Kussumua (Huambo), João Marcelino Tyipinge (Huila) and José Joana André (Zaire).

 

In another dispatch reached Angop Wednesday, the President João Lourenço appointed provincial governors of Bié Pereira Alfredo, Cunene Virgílio da Resurreição Adriano Tyova, Huambo Joana Lina Ramos Baptista Cândido, and Huíla Luís Manuel da Fonseca Nunes.

 

The head of State also appointed Daniel Félix Neto, and Pedro Makita Armando Júlia, respectively, governors of Lunda Sul and Zaire provinces.
