Head of State wants efficiency in transports sector

Luanda, ANGOLA, August 31 - The Angolan Head of State, João Lourenço, last Thursday defended the need for efficiency in the transports sector, aimed at giving a boost to the country’s economy and satisfying the mobility needs of the citizens.,

The Head of State was speaking at the swearing-in ceremony of the secretary of State for the Aviation, Maritime sector and Ports, António Joaquim da Cruz Lima, and the secretary of State for Land Transport, Guildo Waldemar da Silva Cristóvão.

 

 On the same occasion, President João Lourenço swore in the new vice governor for Technical Services and Infrastructures of the central Huambo Province, Leornardo Sobrinho Sapalo.

According to João Lourenço, one needs to have into account that the circulation of people and goods is reflected on the growth of the country.

 

“Without efficient transports (…) the economy will be affected”, said the Angolan President.
