Government defines youth enhancement policies - First Lady
Windhoek, ANGOLA, August 18 - The Angolan Government has set competing policies for training and enhancing youth, the first lady of the Republic, Ana Dias Lourenço, said Friday in Windhoek (Namibia). ,
She said that the actions of the Government aim to provide Angolan youth with full and responsible citizenship, within the framework of the national development plan 2017/2022.
Ana Dias Lourenço spoke in an interactive forum with young people from some Southern African Development Community (SADC) countries, called "free hands included in the program for first ladies, on the sidelines of the 38th Summit of Heads of State and Government of regional organization.
The first lady spoke of some projects, with emphasis on projects informed, responsible and organized youth, improving sexual health and strengthening the mass media for the best dissemination of issues related to reproductive sexual health.
Strengthening partnerships between social actors, in order to increase public awareness and social mobilization, combat paternity denial and prevent sexually transmitted diseases, among others, are also projects that have been enunciated.
The Angolan First Lady recommended to the young participants to social practices that stimulate values, create healthy coexistence, sharing, companionship and solidarity.
