Parliament approves 15 laws in inaugural legislative session
Luanda, ANGOLA, August 16 - The Angolan Parliament has proved, in the first legislative session of the Fourth Legislature, 15 laws, four of which have yet to be published in the Official Gazzete, and 36 resolutions, according to the report of the National Assembly.,
The first legislative session of the IV Legislature ended on Wednesday, at a ceremony led by the first Vice-Speaker of the Parliament, Joana Lina, on behalf of its Speaker, Fernando da Piedade Dias dos Santos.
During this year, the Parliamentarians approved, among others, the Organic Law of the Angolan Social Communication Regulatory Body (ERCA), the General State Budget of 2018 (OGE), the Repatriation of Financial Resources, Private Investment, as well as the Military Legislative Package of the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA), integrated by the Laws of the Military Careers, Military Posts and Distinctive and Military Decorations.
The Laws on National Holidays, Places and Dates of National Celebration, as well as the Law that establishes the technical specifications and dispositions on deference of uses of the National Flag, the Insignia and the National Anthem were also approved.
With the closing of the legislative year, from 15 August to 15 October, the National Assembly will work on extraordinarily basis.
