China wants cooperation in field of justice

Luanda, ANGOLA, July 24 - The Republic of China wants to cooperate with Angola in the field of justice, specifically in the exchange of knowledge of judicial systems and information on trials of criminal cases involving citizens of both countries.,

The claim was released by the president of the Military Court of the People's Liberation Army of China, Liu Ligen, at the end of a meeting with a delegation of the Attorney General's Office, led by Attorney General, Hélder Fernando Pitta-Gróz, in Luanda. China also intends to collaborate in judicial administrative work, according to Liu Ligen, who is in Angola since last Monday considered relations of cooperation in the military field to be old.

About the visit, he said that it aims at exchanging experience, in the context of deepening relations between the two countries.

The chief judge of the Supreme Military Court of Angola, António dos Santos Neto "Patónio", accompanied his counterpart from China at the audience.

On Monday, delegations from the Angolan Military Court and of the People's Liberation Army of China began exchanges of experiences in the field of the functioning of the judicial bodies, within the framework of existing bilateral cooperation.

The meeting also served to present the Chinese delegation, the historical evolution of the Angolan military body, since the creation of the 1st Angolan Military Supreme Court in 1975, formerly designated by the Commission of Justice that had the mission to instruct, indict and prosecute crimes.

The delegation remains in Angola for three days and will visit, among others, the António Agostinho Neto Memorial, the Quissama National Park and the Angolan Armed Forces Museum.
