Babease Ltd. is recalling three batches of its Broccoli, Parsnip & Lentils with Onion, Tomato, Quinoa, Fennel, Rapeseed Oil & Herbs baby food as there have been isolated cases in which Babease Ltd. has identified a packaging fault. This could potentially lead to natural spoilage of the product. No other Babease Ltd. products are known to be affected.

Inspectors:

Environmental Health Officers (EHOs) are requested, as part of routine inspections, to check businesses to determine if the implicated batches are on sale. If found, EHOs should oversee a recall and ensure a point-of-sale notice is displayed in store. Please notify the FSAI (foodincidents@fsai.ie) of the name and address of any suppliers of these batches.

Manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors, caterers & retailers:

Food businesses, including online retailers, currently selling the affected batches must immediately remove these products from sale. Food businesses that have sold the affected batches to consumers must display a point-of-sale notice in store and on websites if sold online.

Consumers:

Consumers are advised not to eat the implicated batches. If consumers have the implicated products at home they are asked to contact Babease Ltd. customer service department (phone: +44 -207-6520576, email: customerservice@babease.co.uk) for a full refund and replacement or return the item to the store it was purchased from, for a full refund.
