Permit Times for Mining Exploration in 2017 compares investor perceptions—based on a survey of mining executives—of the exploration permitting process (approval wait times, regulations, etc.) in many Canadian provinces and key mining jurisdictions around the world.

Permitting processes and regulations can affect investor confidence and activity in any given jurisdiction. The study includes specific data for most Canadian provinces including Ontario, Quebec and British Columbia.
