WALTHAM, Mass., July 16, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Radius Health, Inc. ("Radius" or the "Company") (Nasdaq:RDUS) today announced the appointment of Chhaya Shah as Senior Vice President of Technical Operations.

Ms. Shah joins Radius from Synergy Pharmaceuticals where she was the Senior Vice President of Manufacturing and Technical Operations and helped successfully launch their first commercial product. Prior to Synergy, Chhaya served various functions at Shire Pharmaceuticals, in which she was responsible for end-to-end supply chain for over 20 products, developed quality systems and supported global approval of multiple products, including pre-approval regulatory inspections. Before joining Shire, Chhaya held various compliance, quality assurance and manufacturing leadership roles at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, Vaccine Division and Abbott Laboratories.
