Angola prepares for agro-livestock, fisheries registration process

The process is set to run until 2019.
This was decided at 7th Ordinary Session of the Cabinet Council’s Economic Commission held in southern Huíla province on Friday, under the President João Lourenço.
To ensure the success of the process, the Government created a Central Office for registration of the sectors, according to the communiqué of the meeting delivered Angop.
The ad-hoc body comprises Offices of National Statistical Institute and Studies, Planning and Statistics of the Ministries of Agriculture and Forestry, Fisheries and Sea.
The body is tasked with planning, preparing, collecting, processing, analysing and disseminating statistical data from the registration of agriculture and livestock and fisheries.
The meeting also analysed a memorandum on the implementation of the Public Investment Programme in the provinces of Huíla, Namibe and Cunene.
President João Lourenço began a two-day visit to Huila province on Friday.
