Huambo: Province deemed good for justice sector reform
Huambo, ANGOLA, July 12 - The central Huambo Province has an excellent potential for the adequate organisation of the process of reforming the country’s justice sector and Law, considering the quality and motivation of its magistrates and other staffs. ,
This was defended last Wednesday by the Supreme Court Chief Justice, Rui Ferreira, when speaking to the press in the end of a work visit to Huambo, which started on Monday.
He expressed his satisfaction with the work being done by the provincial court.
“I found a well organised Courthouse (...), although I am disappointed at the state of the infrastructures (...)”, said the Chief Justice.
He seized the occasion to explain that the reform process includes the extinction of the municipal courts and the creation of regional first instance courts and also courts of appeal.
