Prosecution open criminal procedure to clarify deaths in Economic Zone

The case is about an alleged illegal land occupation perpetrated by locals on July 4, which forced a police intervention.
From the process, says the PGR in a press note sent to Angop on Monday, the police officer José Henriques Bartolomeu is under pre-trail detention.
The note adds that the confrontation between the police and locals resulted in gunshots intended to scatter the crowd.
In other document, the prosecution deeply regrets the death of the official of the Criminal Investigation Service (SIC) - economic crimes in Luanda, Lucas Chissolokumbe Chivukuvuku, occurred on July 5 under circumstances yet to be clarified.
Also in this case, the National Police (PN) denied, in a note, the information that Lucas Chivukuvuku was a victim of murder and explains that he died following a traffic accident.
