PHILADELPHIA, PA, UNITED STATES, June 1, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ -- We’ve put together a list of some of the world's most prolific intellectual property creators, from the past to today. Enjoy!

Steve Jobs
With over 450+ pieces of intellectual property, Steve Jobs is a household name. Although he gets credit for inventing the smartphone, it was actually invented in 1992 by IBM and called “The Simon”. Additionally, Jobs worked in large teams, and the amount of work he really contributed to each of his design patents is truly unknown. Jobs was however a master businessman and visionary.

Jony Ive
The darling of Apple, Jony is the Chief Design Officer at Apple. His efforts have resulted in him being credited on over 5,000 pieces of Intellectual Property. He was also knighted in England to honor his design efforts. There is no disputing Mr.Ive is a strong creative force.

Elon Musk (@elonmusk)
Musk although, being credited for being an inventor, does not have many inventions to his name. Musk's strong point his ability to get capital from investors by selling a grand vision of the future. His company, Tesla, has not been profitable, but investors are very engaged because Musk is the best in the business at selling a vision.

Michael Ross Catania (@mikercatania)
Although not very well known, Michael Ross Catania is responsible for 300+ pieces of intellectual property in the United Kingdom. His focus is on consumer products and green energy. With 300+ pieces of intellectual property, and only being 34 years old, it is predicted Catania will out rank everyone on this list, in terms of volume. But we'll see; only time will tell.

Thomas Edison
Thomas Edison is one of the most popular inventors in history. Most of his intellectual property was utility patents, which is a claim on the way something works; not how it looks. The key strength of Edison was that he never gave up and was very determined. He was quoted as saying, "I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.” Edison also has a reputation of being a shrewd businessman, especially with his dealing with Nikola Tesla.

James Dyson (@dyson)
Dyson is a true design revolutionary. He is responsible for countless designs and patents. He is known worldwide for his vacuum cleaner empire he created. Dyson is a true design legend.

Nikola Tesla
Tesla is the father of electricity and was a true genius. His patent count was 300+ pieces. It is claimed that Tesla had the highest IQ of any person that has ever live. We believe it!
