Today at 11am Trade Commissioner Cecilia Malmström will exchange views with a variety of civil society organisations, including trade unions, trade and business associations and NGOs.

Commissioner Malmström will present the latest developments in EU trade policy. The floor will then be opened for participants to make comments and ask questions. This event is part of the European Commission trade department's long-running outreach programme of civil society dialogues. This will be the seventh such event held in 2018. The next one will be on 29 May to specifically discuss the EU's ongoing negotiations for a new trade agreement with Chile, in the presence of the chief negotiators from both sides.
