Gradualism aggravates people's problems - PRS
Luanda, ANGOLA, May 8 - The implementation of municipalities, based on territorial gradualism, will increase the degradation of the basic social conditions of the population, Benedito Daniel, president of the Social Renewal Party (PRS), said Monday in Luanda. ,
The PRS advocates a functional gradualism, based on the deconcentration and decentralization of the central power to the municipalities, for being an "added value", said the politician concerning the implementation of municipalities in Angola, as of 2020, as recommended by the last session of the Council of Republic held in March.
Speaking at the Second Ordinary Meeting of the PRS Political Council, Benedito Daniel reiterated that, in terms of geography, municipalities must occur throughout the country.
"The geographical or territorial gradualism, we think, that it will benefit very little the population and will create more difficulty for Angolans," said the politician, whose party advocates federalism for Angola.
On the state of the nation, Benedito Daniel, lamented that despite having a new President of the Republic, Angolans continue to face the same problems, such as the lack of medicines in hospitals, poor basic sanitation, increase of the number of students outside the educational system, among others.
