MPs assess functioning of public institutions
Moçamedes, ANGOLA, May 3 - The MPs of the main opposition, UNITA parliamentary group, Thursday began a program of visits to public institutions linked to the education and health sectors, in order to learn about their functioning and the difficulties they face.,
Speaking to journalists, Judith Ernesto, coordinator of the activity, said that it aims to verify the functioning of infrastructure and the state of serving citizens, as well as assessing the degree of implementation of the budget revenue.
During the MPs' visit, which extended to the municipality of Tômbwa, will also be held several meetings with the communities, which will address the process of preparation of local Governments.
The coordinator said that in this work program the province of Namibe, MPs will also learn about the problem of children studying in provisional schools made of zinc sheets and the teaching methodologies that are applied in these areas.
