Commission for preservation of world cultural heritage to meet in Luanda
Luanda, ANGOLA, May 3 - The National Multisectoral Commission for the Safeguarding of the World Cultural Heritage will be meeting Friday in Luanda, under the guidance of the Vice-President of the Republic, Bornito de Sousa.,
The body, created by Presidential Decree 25/18 of March 5, is coordinated by the Vice President of the Republic, assisted by the Minister of Culture.
The Commission's objective is to promote the implementation of conservation programmes and the participative management of the national cultural heritage, in accordance with international conventions and treaties.
