Presidential decree sets up rules for State Budget execution

ANGOLA, May 3 - Luanda- All the State organs, entities and institutions benefiting from the State Budget (OGE) need to comply with the new rules of public fund execution, according to the presidential decree of 27 April, which Angop had access on Monday. ,

The legal tool, already in force, adds that the budgeted institutions must comply with rigor the aspects enshrined in the OGE, public tender, public heritage, regulation of the Preparation, Execution and Follow-up of the Investment Programme, among other current decrees.

 

The Presidential Decree justifies that the decentralization of the execution of the OGE, through the Integrated System of State Financial Management (SIGFE) is a matter that need to be handled with utmost seriousness by the managers of the budgetary units that depends on the execution of the respective budgets.

 

It adds that the effectiveness and materialization of the OGE can only be ensured by compliance with budgetary rules and straight instructions for budget implementation tailored to the country’s economic situation.
