Financial Institutions, Inc. Announces Increase in Quarterly Dividend

Quarterly dividend increased 9.1% to $0.24 per common share – the equivalent of $0.96 annually

WARSAW, N.Y., Feb. 28, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Financial Institutions, Inc. (the “Company”) (NASDAQ:FISI) announced today that its Board of Directors has approved a quarterly cash dividend of $0.24 per outstanding common share, which represents a 9.1% increase from the most recent quarterly cash dividend. The Company also announced dividends of $0.75 per share on its Series A 3% preferred stock and $2.12 per share on its Series B-1 8.48% preferred stock. All dividends are payable April 2, 2018, to shareholders of record on March 15, 2018.
