President creates State Reform Commission

ANGOLA, February 16 - According to a press note from the President’s Civil Office that reached ANGOP on Wednesday, the referred commission is tasked with creating premises for the materialization of the main goals outlined in the government programme for the next five years.

 

The note justifies the creation of the commission in view of the need to implement a multilateral consultation and concerted monitoring mechanism to oversee the reforms to be implemented in every governance sector during the current presidential term.

 

Coordinated by the president along with vice president as deputy-coordinator, the commission integrates the following figures:

 

Minister of State for Social and Economic Development,

Minister of State and head of the President’s Security Office,

Minister of State and head of the President’s Civil Office,

Minister of Territory Administration and State reform,

Minister of Public Administration, Labour and social Security,

Minister of Finances,

Minister of Economy and Planning,

Minister of Justice and Human Rights, 

Minister of Territory planning and Habitation,

Minister of Telecommunication and Information Technologies,

Secretary for Political, Constitutional and Parliamentary Matters of the President,

Secretary for Judicial and Juridical Matters of the President,

Secretary for Local and Regional Matters,

Director of the Cadres Office of the President,

Vice President’s Assistant for Juridical Matters, Administrative Modernisation and Interchange,

 Vice President’s Assistant for Local State Administration and Local Governments.
