President reviews cooperation with outgoing British ambassador
Luanda, ANGOLA, February 15 - Angolan head of State João Lourenço Thursday in Luanda analysed with the outgoing United Kingdom ambassador to Angola, John Dennis, issues related to strengthening cooperation between the states.

John Dennis told the press that relations with Angola have progressed satisfactorily over the last four years of his term.
The British diplomat highlighted the cooperation in the fields of trade, agriculture, energy, knowledge exchange in the financial area and training of staff.
As for the political relations, the diplomat said that they can be summarised in permanent consultations on global and regional issues, especially the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), having highlighted the role of Angola in addressing international issues.
He said that efforts were being made to bring the two countries institutions closer. He mentioned those concerned with agriculture, scientific research and financing.
The outgoing ambassador, who did not specify the volume of trade, said that the scholarship system was being revised to meet Angola's training needs.
