UNITA highlights more resources allocated to education, health sectors

Luanda, ANGOLA, February 14 - The MP of the main opposition party, UNITA, Amélia Judith Ernesto, has deemed satisfactory the allocation of more resources to education and health sectors in the 2018 State Budget (OGE). ,

This follows the proposal made by the opposition UNITA and Coalition CASA-CE jointly with the ruling MPLA, which suggested a money increase in the financial resources availed to those sectors.

  

The education sector currently counts on less than 5. 4 percent of the State Budget, while the health area represents 3.63 percent.

 

The 2018 State Budget foresees expenses and revenues estimated at 9.6 billion kwanzas and an economic growth of 4.9 percent of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
