Ethiopia/AU: Statesmen assess reports

Addis Ababa, ANGOLA, January 29 - The 30th Ordinary Session of Heads of State and Government of the African Union (AU) taking place in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, resumed works early this Monday in a closed-door session to assess several reports, as well as the launching of the African single market for Air Transport. ,

The meeting is also assessing the Peace and Security Report, one of the main documents worrying the Heads of state of the African institution.

According to the director for Africa, Middle East and Regional Organizations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Joaquim do Espírito Santo, during the session the Congolese President, Denis Sassou Nguesso, will present a report on Libya.

The Angolan diplomat also confirmed the discussion of several documents this morning, including reports on Climate Change, Education, Science and Technology.

The 30th Summit of Heads of State is being held under the theme “Winning the Fight against Corruption: A Sustainable Path to Africa’s Transformation”
