StingDome and turf field open at Seneca’s Newnham Campus

New facility to serve Seneca students and the community

Toronto, Jan. 25, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Toronto, January 25, 2018 – Geng Tan, Member of Parliament for Don Valley North, joined Seneca President David Agnew and student leaders today to officially open Seneca's new seasonal dome and multi-purpose artificial turf field.

The new facility called the StingDome and Seneca Fields is now serving recreation and varsity programs, Seneca Summer Camps, and the local community through space rentals and new community recreation programming.

The StingDome and Seneca Fields were made possible with funding from the Seneca Student Athletic Association and up to $893,990 through the Canada 150 Community Infrastructure Program (CIP 150), delivered by the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario.
